This award celebrates educators who have gone above and beyond to embed creativity, participation and place-based learning into their teaching practice.

Nominees may have developed innovative classroom activities, built strong partnerships, championed pupil voice or inspired lasting engagement with architecture, design and the built environment.

Teachers and educators may be nominated by colleagues, schools, collaborators or organisations, or may nominate themselves. Judges may also identify nominees from project submissions across all categories.
