Imagine Awards 2026

Despite the fact that architecture affects everyone's daily lives, it's not a subject embedded into our school education system although as a dynamic and constantly evolving subject, it can make learning more accessible and relevant. Design through architecture and the built environment can aid maths, science and other curriculum subjects as well as helping to connect with our surroundings. Through exploration, creativity and critical thinking , architecture and the built environment unlocks full learning potential.

The Imagine Awards has been launched to celebrate teachers and built environment professionals who have been using the theme of architecture and the built environment education within classroom teaching or collaborations. The awards aim to recognise, promote, and encourage school-led learning programmes exploring architecture and the built environment.

If you are an inspiring teacher, educator or professional advancing knowledge of/or using the subject of architecture and the built environment in a school setting, we look forward to your submission - with many subject areas from which to choose!

The Imagine Awards 2026.
The award is first of its kind and is open to all educators and built environment professionals.

The award celebrates architecture learning across categories including themes of wellbeing, community and sustainability, subject areas and key stages. Successful initiatives will demonstrate pupil engagement, best practice, impact and creativity.
